Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 14, 2026
Kember AI (“Kember,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Finance Scalably LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website at kember.ai and our platform (collectively, the “Service”). We are committed to being transparent about our data practices and protecting your privacy.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account or join our waitlist, we collect your name, email address, and role. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information through our payment processor — we do not store credit card numbers directly.
Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and general usage patterns. This helps us improve the product.
Connected account data. When you connect third-party services (such as your accounting system, Google Workspace, Slack, or Teams), we access data from those services on your behalf and only as necessary to provide the Service. We use OAuth tokens managed by a third-party integration provider and do not store your third-party credentials.
Financial data processed by kembers. Your kember may process financial data from your connected systems — including transactions, account balances, reports, and documents you share. This data is processed on your dedicated, isolated infrastructure and is not shared with other customers or used to train AI models.
Knowledge your kember builds. As your kember works with you, it builds persistent knowledge about your company — including procedures, preferences, conventions, and operational facts learned from your conversations. This knowledge is organized into two categories: memory (private to each kember, containing learned facts and interaction history) and Company Context (a structured knowledge base of company-level information that can be shared across kembers in your organization at your direction). This learned knowledge is stored on your dedicated infrastructure and in your account's database. It is not shared with other customers and is not used to train AI models. You can view, edit, and delete items in your kember's memory and Company Context at any time through the platform.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; to communicate with you about your account, updates, and support; to process payments and manage subscriptions; to monitor usage for billing and capacity planning; and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your financial data, the content of your kember's conversations, or the knowledge your kember builds to train AI models.
AI and data processing
Kember uses third-party AI models to power kember capabilities. When your kember processes a request, the relevant context is sent to the AI model provider for inference. Our default AI provider does not use customer inputs to train models and does not retain your data after generating a response. If we make additional AI models available, their providers' data handling practices will be consistent with these standards or disclosed separately.
Data sharing
We share data with third parties only as necessary to provide the Service. This includes cloud infrastructure providers for hosting your kember's dedicated instance; payment processors for billing; integration providers for managing OAuth connections to your third-party services; web search providers when your kember performs online research on your behalf; email delivery services for transactional communications; and analytics tools to understand product usage.
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Kember, our customers, or others.
Data isolation and security
Each kember runs on its own dedicated infrastructure instance. Your data is not shared with or accessible to other customers. We implement encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and audit logging. Integration permissions are granular — you control exactly what each kember can access in each connected system.
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Data retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Financial data processed by your kember is retained on your dedicated instance and in your connected systems — we do not independently retain copies beyond what is necessary for the Service to function. Knowledge your kember builds (memory and Company Context) is retained for as long as your account is active and can be deleted by you at any time. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records for tax purposes).
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; to restrict or object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@kember.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our website. You can control cookie settings through your browser. The Service does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
